In India as per a study, the average data consumption per user per month across 3G and 4G networks in India was 17 gigabytes. 4G data traffic contributes to 99 per cent of the overall data traffic. The compound annual growth rate of data consumption was 31 per cent over the five years. Increased online education, remote working for professionals, and higher OTT viewership contributed to the data traffic growth.
If these parameters are about the individuals, then the organization are dealing with terabytes of data every day. Storing, Organizing, Analyzing and using these data to find the patterns of past and project for the future is the key to the success of any organization.
