Spider-man No Way Home sets a groundbreaking precedent on multiple levels. On one hand Marvel Studios shows a surprising amount of gumption through the bold execution of an ambitious concept. On the other hand, both Zach and I are refreshed to see that Marvel is still capable of producing coherent cinematic content. No way home is a guiltless example of giving fans what they want and in that regard it shines. The success is also achieved in a narrative that carries weight and consequences, and takes on a darker tone than the franchises predecessors. In its own way, this becomes Tom Holland's Spider-man origin story, and is his transition into his command of the popular hero. With great power comes great responsibility, and it seems that Tom Hollands responsibility is to shoulder the MCU for the foreseeable future.
