There are 4 major machining techniques that are used to manufacture a robot. These are CNC,VMC, Wire EDM and 3D Printing. We will diving deep into these techniques and spot which are suitable for mass production and why that particular machining technique is used. Apart from the charaterstic of the machining technique we will compare and contrast these with the old school methods of manufacturing. We will also understand how to implement these techniques for us to fabricate the desired component.
