The first author to join us on this experimental series, Alaska Harrison, a young person from North London who has carved out a complicated yet deeply understood, kaleidoscopic, intersectional identity whilst in a hostile environment, figuring out the ontological nuances and evaluating the helpful from those that make her helpless, and all while securing a firmer emotional, centred ground to progressively take steps forward.
Bahnu Madeja-Mahal's (who couldn't be with us), story speaks as a former police officer sharing experiences of growing in her culture, the clash that takes place within her perspective and the outside world, as well as looking at what she is upto now.
