Maryam Amini, a neuro art teacher. An activist, and spiritually aware woman living in Canada with familial ties to Iran. She has been campaigning to raise awareness of the plight of those living under the Islamic Regime with the hashtag #womenlifefreedom. Sharing a name with Mahsa Amini, who was brutally and wrongfully murdered whilst wearing a hijab over 6 months ago, you can't help but think there is a spirit that unites Maryam with her homeland in a way that is so deeply enmeshed in the fabric of her being that they are inseparable.
Former 3-month clubhouse Icon teamed with Tehran Von Ghasri and Parisa Rose, Maryam shares deeply about the meaning of her environmental experiences growing up and how they have shaped her view of the world she is creating for herself. She pours her heart out with every response and you will be hard pushed not to feel something in your heart as you listen. From online to offline progress in her personal and pubic life, Maryam stays grounded through her personal practices of observing herself and feeling into meaning dedicating herself to service of a greater cause whilst checking in with how she is.
