Description

The NHS announce their first strike in 106 years. Jermaine and Mark discuss the potential for opening talks with health agencies, networks, and across the industry, inviting the key people in policy-making and structural to participate in cooperative discussion around resolving.

We had a surprise guest, Neomi Bennett MEB, join us. An NHS nurse, founder of Equality 4 Black Nurses, currently campaigning on behalf of black and minority ethnic nurses in England. Formed in June 2022, the group continues to build community and Neomi reveals plans for growth and expansion into an organisation as pervasive as the harm and threat they experience.

Themes of resistance ring through for this episode, and glad Neomi could join us to share from an inside perspective.
