The fear of God is a heart. The settings in the heart of man that enables him to keep God's commandments is called the fear of God. The fear of God is a certain kind of heart.
Deuteronomy 5:29 KJVS
O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!
What kind of heart do you think you have? Do you easily tremble at who God is and what He can do? Do you find yourself asking yourself whether you are obeying the commandments of God in the things that you find yourself doing, or you are someone who is never bothered about such things? Examine yourself to check the kind of heart you have because God can give you a new heart that fears Him if that is what you find you may need. There is no need for anyone to die or perish forever because of sin in their lives. Your heart can be changed. You can become new , without a stony heart, and able to love and fear God.
Ezekiel 18:31-32 KJVS
Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel? [32] For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.
