*BEAUTIFUL FEET*
Live Daily Footstool Devotional
Isaiah 52:7 KJVS
How *beautiful upon the mountains are the feet* of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!
It is one thing to go where God sends you, and, it is a completely different thing to return with a word of praise concerning what He sent you to do. How you return is more important than how you go!
Often, when God sends people, the work He send them to go and do is hard. Serving God properly is hardwork. This is because much of the work is to save people, say, from deep horrible muddy mire up into safe rocky surfaces. Salvation is surely brought on by a great deal of hard work sponsored by God's anointing.
Psalm 40:2 KJVS
He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.
It is the fear of this hard work, the fear of all the terrible enemies there are to overcome, and the fear of laying down one’s life for that seemingly questionable cause that makes us bring back an evil report about the land or place or work he sends us to do. It is not enough to get to go or know what God wants you to do- that only passes you as one who had feet that went where God led. It is much more beautiful and a better thing to return with a report of praise, of hope and belief that God can do what He said He will do. Returning with good tidings, announcements of peace, good news of good things, proclamations of salvation, declaring how that God reigns, is what makes you have beautiful feet. Your feet may have been muddied by going where the Lord sent you, but it will be beautiful feet because it brought back good news.
God wants to clean you up from inside out. When you have a clean spirit, it doesn’t matter how muddy your outside may look. Your muddy outlook is just a perfect place to start.
Joshua and Caleb had a clean spirit. When their ten co- spies chose to bring back an evil report of the land they had gone to search, they chose to bring back a good report. Receive the grace that makes you better than ten other spies! Receive the grace that makes you ten times better than other people in the king’s palace!
Numbers 13:31-32 KJVS
But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we. [32] And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying,...
Numbers 14:24 KJVS
But my servant Caleb, because he had *another spirit* with him, and hath followed me fully, him will I bring into the land whereinto he went; and his seed shall possess it.
Daniel 1:20 KJVS
And in all matters of wisdom and understanding, that the king enquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm.
Beautiful feet means clean spirit. It is not enough to come into the world and join all the people who are complaining about the government and the system and how things are not working. It is a far better thing to be alive, move about in the land where God has set you in and find something good to say about it, bringing back a report of praise that God reigns! Develop beautiful feet!
God loves beautiful feet! God has special arrangements for beautifying his own feet! Don’t just interpret this in the physical sense, though it also means that God believes in good shoes for his children, especially for his daughters according to the scripture in Songs 7:1.
Song of Solomon 7:1 KJVS
How *beautiful are thy feet with shoes*, O prince's daughter! the joints of thy thighs are like jewels, the work of the hands of a cunning workman.
Isaiah 60:13 KJVS
The glory of Lebanon shall come unto thee, the fir tree, the pine tree, and the box together, to *beautify the place of my sanctuary; and I will make the place of my feet glorio
