*CHOOSE HONOUR*

2 Timothy 2:20-21 KJVS
But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. [21] If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.
Choose to be a vessel of honour. Don’t allow anyone or anything to pressurise you into thinking any less of yourself than God actually made you to be. If you think there’s nothing special about you, then there is really nothing special about you. But if you agree with God that there is something special about you, behave like it!
You can choose to say about yourself that in array of vessels made of gold, silver, wood and earth in a large house, you are just that article made of wood, or the earth/ clay, which comparatively is of less worth. Refuse to have feelings of less self worth, as if God did not create you as a high quality material. Anything that makes you live like that is not from God.
Instead, choose to say about yourself that in God’s house, you want to be a vessel of very high quality, like gold. If that’s your choice, four things are going to become your spiritual characteristic and property or inheritance. .
One, you will be reserved for honourable purposes( vessel of honour). God will bring you forth for others to applaud only when it is very necessary, otherwise, you will have your highest pleasures in sitting in your corner and enjoy doing what you like best, in the audience of your Maker.
Two, you will be sanctified. God will take you through many processes to show you what his will is and so that you will be really purified and refined. God wants you to be his favourite, and the process for making a common thing God’s favourite is called sanctification.
Three, you will be qualified/ meet for the master’s use. This means, God will work hard to give you qualifications or things that signify that you are qualified to be used by God in a very high and special way. God would like to prove to the whole world that you are one of His best, and that you are fit for being selected and used as a masterpiece.
Four, you will be given the special privilege of preparation. This means , you will often find yourself already prepared to do any important work for your life and calling. Often, people find that they are not ready for opportunities so things slip them by and they are always on the wrong side of favour. But when you purge yourself from unholy uses, you will be prepared by God for good uses.
Choose to be a vessel of honour today.
