DON’T BE NAKED

Read Revelation 19:1-10
Revelation 19:7 NLT - Let us be glad and rejoice,
and let us give honor to him.
For the time has come for the wedding feast of the Lamb,
and his bride has prepared herself.
Revelation 19:8 NLT - She has been given the finest of pure white linen to wear.”
For the fine linen represents the good deeds of God’s holy people.
The bride of the Lamb prepares herself for her marriage to the Lamb. How does she prepare herself? She weaves a tapestry for her own self out of her good deeds. Without intentionally sewing or preparing your own clothes, you will not have anything bridal to wear when your groom arrives. God expects us, as children of God, to take time and weave our own clothes.
Whatever we will wear in eternity, or as born again, resurrected people here in this life, can only be sewn out of the material made from our good deeds here on earth. You must ensure that your deeds are everlasting. You must ensure that your deeds are not shameful. You must ensure that your deeds are not obscure. You must ensure that your deeds are not of poor quality. You must ensure that your deeds prove your holiness. You must ensure that your deeds are unstained with sin or the flesh. You’ve got to be serious about the things you and do not do. Your deeds will be translated into your clothes. Spiritually, you are a naked person and qualify to be shamed and mocked by people who do not fear God if you fear God, yet do not take time to sew your clothes or invest in your outlook. The Lamb of God doesn’t want a naked bride. It is your job to put your clothes together to meet your King.
Ask God to show you what kind of deeds you need to focus more of your energies on. And when he shows you, do more of those deeds and weave an attractive tapestry for yourself. The Bible says fine linen has been given to her to wear, as she has prepared herself. From today, invest in your spiritual clothing, intellectual clothing, emotional clothing and physical clothing. Don’t walk about having precious content within yourself and yet nothing on the outside to show to those who can’t see the gold on your inside. You’ve gotta be serious about how people see you. Don’t be careless about your nakedness! Get covered, lest you remain invisible and ignored.
