Read Exodus 12
Exodus 12:11,25 KJVS
And thus shall ye eat it; with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall EAT IT IN HASTE: it is the Lord's passover.
Exodus 12:12-13 KJVS - For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the LORD.
¹³ And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.
Many times, the miracles of salvation take place in a matter of moments, seconds and short periods. What we do not know is that, even though the miracle may occur very quickly in our eyes, it may actually have taken a lot of effort, skill and knowledge and spiritual time and energy from the Saviour to execute a particular judgement on the enemy to bring a miracle to us. You must know qnd be able to appropriate a lot of spiritual truths if you are going to be a saviour of others!
Obadiah 1:21 KJVS - And SAVIOURS shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the LORD'S.
God is looking forward to saving the whole world not only with one Saviour, the Lord Jesus, but also with many saviours, even the children of Jesus, the body of Christ!
Exodus 12:3 KJVS - Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, A LAMB FOR AN HOUSE.
The Bible speaks of a lamb for each house, for the passover. In other words, God would want to have a representative saviour or lamb in each house who can understand Christ’s work of salvation and stand to execute it in their catchment area. To save the people within your reach, you ought to know a lot of spiritual truths just like the Lamb of God read and knew the things written in the scroll that no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth was worthy to know in Revelation 5, and by so doing He alone could be able to save.
To know a lot of things, you have to learn to read quickly. You must eat and meditate on many spiritual truths quickly. You must be fast paced with knowing spiritual things. Don’t spend all your time doing other things, and leave little time for spiritual things. Leave much time for spiritual things and afford to touch on many spiritual contents or thoughts when you are with the Lord in say prayer or worship. This can only be if you develop the habit of eating God’s Word quickly, so that you can take in a lot. The Bible says the Passover had to be eaten with one’s loins girded, ie with a belt fastened to hold trousers or a skirt on, and with shoes on the feet and staff in the hands , that is, while you’re ready to go or on the go.
Decide to read the Bible and know many things in it quickly. Decide to know and meditate on many things in the Bible because the more you know, the more you will become effective in the removal of sins and the salvation of the souls of the people in your house or catchment area quickly. Decide to be spiritually smart. It makes way for a lot of miracles and releases a lot of saving power.
