Proverbs 18:9 KJVS - He also that is slothful in his work is brother to him that is a great waster.
Everyone must arise and give themselves to the work they are appointed to. Everyone must give themselves to intense industry, working hard to build God’s Kingdom and to have enough to be a blessing to others. You must arise against slothfulness. You must arise against laziness, slackness, slowness and unproductivity.
The Bible says slothfulness or laziness is a brother to great wastage. God may have given you so much but if you sit and stare with folded arms, thinking you have nothing, you will end up wasting so much. Arise, gather the little crumbs before you and get to work with the little you have. Become a great gatherer instead of a great waster.
God is looking forward to a harvest from you. You must learn how not to be a waster of the raw things you have been given. Don’t sit there, looking at other people’s prepared fields and admire them. Work hard on your own field and get rid of the wastage of time, energy, money and other resources.
Arise and shine now that your light has come and the glory of the Lord is risen upon you (Isaiah 60:1).
