Good Friday With Jesus
Matthew 28:18-20 KJVS - And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, ALL POWER is given unto IN HEAVEN AND IN EARTH.
¹⁹ GO ye therefore, and TEACH all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
²⁰ Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Jesus is very powerful both in heaven and in earth. He is well respected in both zones. He has been given authority in both regions. He understands perfectly the things of the heavens and He also understands perfectly the things of the earth. This makes Him a heavyweight intercessor on either sides of the sky. Jesus is a hybrid of both heaven’s most precious stock( He is the Son of God) and earth’s most precious stock( He is the Son of Man).
After the resurrection, Jesus said, “ All power in heaven and in earth is given unto me”. You must understand that the resurrection power of God makes one powerful both in heaven and in the earth. The resurrection power of God can make you understand spiritual things very perfectly and also make you very human and earthy so that you are very lowly and humble and able to bear with the things of the earth. The true resurrection power of God makes you perfectly mature as a spiritual being and perfectly mature as a human. The resurrection power of God which raised Jesus up from the dead is able to give you the ability to be highly relevant and powerful spiritually and and also highly prominent and powerful physically. It makes you productive both physically and spiritually.
Why are we talking about this hybrid power of God? A hybrid is simply is a mixture of two different things. This kind of hybrid power is most useful for two things: to send you somewhere( GO!), and to make you a teacher( TEACH!) of the people over there because you both can perfectly understand where you are coming from ( that is, the from the Spirit), and where they are and thus can be a perfect teacher, helping them to understand the message well and be productive with it. Jesus said all the power is given unto Him both in heaven and in earth so now we are enabled to GO! And TEACH all nations.
The power of the resurrection is useless in your life if it cannot send you somewhere and turn you into a teacher of a certain flock. That’s what all that awesome hybrid power and authority of Jesus in the heaven and in the earth is for. As you allow the death of Christ and His resurrection to be perfected in you, understand that you are receiving power to go somewhere and be a teacher of the gospel to group of people. Become a preacher, and a teacher of some flock for Jesus. Become a goer! Your feet are being recruited to go and your head, heart and hands are being recruited to teach. This makes for a powerful demonstration of the hybrid power of our Lord Jesus to save and use us.
