Many women would want to marry great men. But it's important to understand that the desire is actually one to be a lead woman. While it's not misplaced to dream of being a king's wife, it's absolutely necessary to rightly interpret this desire to be on the frontline as the actual call that it is- the call to be a leader! Women are called to be leaders as an adjunct to men in leadership. Women cannot lead till they learn to follow the Leader, Jesus. Queen Esther could not be a suitable wife to King Xerxes till she learned that her call was actually to speak on behalf of the Jews to the heathen king. God specially anoints wives to stand by the sides of their kings, and their job over there is not to vaunt themselves, but rather to lead and to speak on behalf of those who are most likely to be downtrodden in the kingdom, should the king be manipulated to look away from them. Esther 8:4,5.
