Good Friday With Jesus

Matthew 11:25-30 NLT - 25 At that time Jesus prayed this prayer: “O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, thank you for hiding these things from those who think themselves wise and clever, and for revealing them to the childlike. 26 Yes, Father, it pleased you to do it this way!
27 “My Father has entrusted everything to me. No one truly knows the Son except the Father, and no one truly knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.”
28 Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”
There is a secret school of life that is available to anyone who wants to learn from the best institution. Many students work hard to enter prestigious colleges so they can pride themselves in being learners from some of the best centres ever. Here on this earth, God has a very high university whose vice chancellor and inaugural lecturer, if you like, is Jesus Christ. You can learn about everything- from animals to trees to soils and stars and water and people- just anything but it will be from the Lord. The meaning of the Lord’s teachings are hidden from proud people, people who think they are by themselves so wise and clever. Admission is granted to only the humble, the childlike and those who flow this holiness and truth. Can God choose you for scholarship into His secret university of life, where the Lord Jesus becomes your teacher?
When you become born again and dead to self, you gain admission into Jesus’s invisible but real and existent University. This university has its campus in the spiritual realm. If you dwell there a lot through prayer, Bible study and constant fellowship with the Holy Spirit, you are esteemed childlike and given the masterkeys to excel in life, altogether.
In this world, you can have many sources of information. You can have various people teaching you on various subjects. It matters who your teacher is. It matters who your source of light is. It matters who or where you learn what you get to know from. If you learn most of what you from the television and movies and things people have acted out without allowing the Lord’s clarification and explanations on the things you see, you become yoked with those people and the spirit that inspired their plays. And that yoke, my friend is not easy. Sometimes people develop all kinds of disorders like depression, insomnia, hallucinations, etc because they are learning too many things from all the unauthorised places( the darkness). If you allow yourself to be taught by the Lord’s words and visions and dreams( produced by His Holy Spirit), you will become yoked with His Spirit and it won’t be too difficult for you to love to work with what He teaches you. His yoke is easy and His burden is ight.
Today, many children do not enjoy going to school. Perhaps they are indeed receiving light and information, but from the wrong lightsource. Jesus said, “ Learn of me”. If we allow Jesus to teach us science, math, English, Social studies etc, that may be all the difference we will need to make it big and deep in life. We live in an age of abundance of knowledge (Daniel 12:4 KJVS - But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.)
In order to be safe and near the cross, whatever information we receive must be screened through the eyes of the Lord Jesus. We must give God space to teach us Himself on the various subjects of life. When the Lord becomes our teacher, the things we know no longer become burdensome but rather enjoyable and doable.
