Psalm 97:11 KJVS
Light is sown ( Hebrew "zara": to disseminate plant, to fructify, to produce or yield seed, to become pregnant, sow and yield) for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.
1. LIGHT IS SOWN. It is not only seeds of plants that are sown in the earth. The Bible says light is sown in the earth when God wants to reap a harvest of light. Light is sown.
2. ENLIGHTENMENT IS A GIFT FROM GOD. Enlightenment is a thing from God. Enlightenment is a gift from God. All intellectualism is given by God. The gift, love and abundance of knowledge in the earth as we see today can only be a gift from God to beautify and glorify the earth He made which was marred by the darkness.
Psalm 97:4 KJVS
His lightnings enlightened ( Hebrew "ore": to cause to shine, become glorious, become luminous and be a light) the world: the earth saw, and trembled.
3. LIGHT IS BURIED IN DARKNESS. God is light. Yet sometimes He wraps Himself in the darkness. God sometimes hides Himself (with all the righteousness and judgment of the throne upon which He sits) within the darkness. God, who is light, buries or sows Himself in the darkness. When this kind of "burial" is allowed to take place, God intends to break forth in mighty outbursts of light. God intends to break forth with great power that is difficult to withstand and fire that will destroy all His enemies. This is also a warfare strategy of God- the burial or sowing of light within darkness- it's like lying in ambush to take His enemies by surprise!
Psalm 97:1-3 KJVS
The LORD reigneth; let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles be glad thereof. [2] Clouds and darkness are round about him: righteousness and judgment are the habitation of his throne. [3] A fire goeth before him, and burneth up his enemies round about.
