Proverbs 14:23 KJVS - In all labour there is profit: but the talk of the lips tendeth only to penury.
So long as you work consistently at something, God will give you the victory. Once there is labour in a thing, there is sure to be some profit of the sort. The Bible says, in all labour there is profit.
Don’t become a talkative for nothing. Those who just talk and talk and talk only tend to penury or poverty. Just talking about some work that needs to be done will not get the work done. Work does not get done only through mere talk. Work gets done through real hard labour- through pen touching paper and so much more, if you are an author, through cutlass and hoe hitting the ground and sweat falling in the soil if you’re a farmer, or needle touching a string or thread and then a material, if you are a seamstress or handicraft worker. Decide to be a labourer from today, and not just someone who talks from the lips all the time, with no heart attached to the words made. Get serious and bring profit into your life.
Jump into the labour mode because there is much profit awaiting you on the other side. Decide to overcome your fears and get onto the field of souls and work. Decide to labour and work hard at the souls you want to bring in and get saved. Decide to be a labourer and think only of profiting as a pastor. Yes, God can make you profit for the Kingdom as a shepherd of the souls of men. Don’t think of yourself as a leader of a failing ministry. Think of yourself as a leader of a highly impactful force and ministry. Think profit for the Kingdom, and not loss to the enemy.
Sometimes, people allow the thought of making losses to crowd their minds so much that they do not even see the profit that working hard can present to them. Don’t be discouraged by the failures of your sheep that you never believe that you can succeed with your flock. You can profit in the ministry by working hard on your sheep. Be focused and think profit, not loss. Think of the benefits God wants to give to you as you labour in love for Him. Think profit.
Hebrews 6:10 KJVS - For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
Your labour of love can turn into extreme profit if you refuse to do it only by talking, but rather to add a lot unseen labour behind the scenes( if you like). The talk of lips tends to penury but in all labour there is profit. Give your to labour and profit withal!
