Wherever there is a command, know that love is hidden in it. In Genesis (the beginning) , we do not see God using the words, "I love you" to Adam and Eve. But it was there. Just by giving the commandment, God was saying," I love you. I don't want you to die. I don't want you to destroy yourself. I really want you to be around for a very long time. I made you and I really want you so take good care of yourself by enjoying what I give to you and staying away from what is out there to harm you. I am saying all these things because 'I love you'. So love me back by keeping these simple rules and we will both be happy together forever." This all God was trying to say in His Daddy tone by giving the commandment in Genesis 2:16, 17.
