WHY CAN'T YOU RECEIVE A GIFT ?

Luke 18:26-30 KJVS - And they that heard it said, Who then can be saved?
27 And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.
28 TheN Peter said, Lo, we have left all, and followed thee.
29 And he said unto theM, VeriLy I say unto yoU, There is no man that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom Of God's sake,
30 Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting.
Salvation is all about receiving a gIft. Are you too full to receive a gift That God is giving to You? Then you are rich indeed, and it is this kind of 'rich men’ who will find it very hard to enter the kingdOm. Your ability to bend, change, become a new person just so you can receive a new gift tHat God is giving to you is what makes you like the camel that is able to go through the eye of a needle and get savEd.
In the scripture abOve, Jesus taught on how to receive many more things by letting go of one or things that you may have become easily attached to alreAdy. You may have to cut down on some of your "worrying hours” just so you can make time to meditate on the WorD of God several times in a day, and receive the gift of a sound mind That Jesus wants to give to yOu.
You may have to cut down on your addiction to masturbation, just so you can spare or lend a couple of houRs to Jesus who wants to speak to you through your Pastor’s serMon.
Are you willing to cut down on the number of bottles of alcohol, sticks of cigarettes or puffs of shisha just tO loan Jesus a few minutes of your time so he can play to your hearing a song by One of His favourite songbirds/ music ministers tO you? You don't have to start by stopping everything all by yourSelf. All Jesus asks from you is just a little space in your full boat so he cAn do His wOrk.
If you can squeeze yourself, and make a little room in your heart and life to rEceive Him as a new gift to add on to your already full bough of riches, then even as a rich man, addicted to many of the niceties of life, you can be saVed.
PRayer: Dead God, thanks foR your Word. Please help me to change some things about me sO that I can receive whatever freE gift You want to give to me in Jesus name. AmeN.
