If you were famous for something, what would it be? Your smile, your looks, your ability to make people laugh, your work ethic, your abilities, your sincerity? There are lots of things to be remembered for, however, in 1 Kings, we see about the worst thing in the world to be known for and its a pretty telling indictment of King Ahab’s life. But the text also gives a clue as to why and it stands as a great reminder to us as well about how we live and who we run with.
