Have you ever had to tell someone the unvarnished, unpopular truth? A truth you knew they would not want to hear but you felt compelled because you loved them to tell them anyway. While all of us may have had to do that, none of us are really signing up for it right? It can be difficult to tell the unmitigated truth to someone who doesn’t want to hear it. Such was the case with the prophet of God in 1 Kings 22, but as we’ll see on today’s podcast, this is the responsibility of every faithful prophet of God, and it may have more import for us than we may realize at first.
