As a pastor, one of the excuses I hear why someone struggles to read the Bible. They don’t have the discipline, they don’t have the time, they don’t understand it. But the most ludicrous of all of them is that the Bible is boring. I want to look at them and say, “have you read the Bible?” In today’s story from 2 Samuel chapter 3 we see the political interworking of David’s struggle for power. Not only, is it enthralling, it is incredibly instructive for us in our lives and on today’s podcast, we’ll dive into all of it.
