One of my favorite television shows to watch is the show Law and Order. It was probably the first courtroom drama I ever really enjoyed. The show did a masterful job of relaying the investigation portion of the crime in question, then the courtroom phase that ensued, ending with a sentence or judgment. It was at once realistic and riveting. We will see that same three-fold investigation, judgment, and sentencing performed today on the kingdom of Babylon as we witness her demise and the rise of the Persian empire.
