Have you ever told your children something to do only to watch them completely ignore what you asked them to do. When you challenge them they contest that they listened, but the real test of actually listening is obeying what is said. The word, “Hear” is the Hebrew word “shema” it means to listen with the intent to obey what is said. On today’s podcast we’ll consider what this meant for Israel and what it means for us today.
