Have you ever felt like you just couldn't get a break? Amid the difficulty of our lives, it can feel sometimes like we just need one thing to fall our way. As we've followed the life of Joseph over the last few weeks, we have seen the difficulty that he experienced. He's been through a whole lot more than we have ever been through. Sold into slavery in a foreign land, unjustly accused, unfairly imprisoned, hopelessly forgotten, and yet in one fell swoop God redeemed all of the pain in this moment in Genesis 42. On the podcast today, we learn how God's unique sense of timing brought about all these circumstances to converge at just the right moment for Joseph. It is a reminder to us to be faithful to a God who can do the same for us.
