Do you have a green thumb? There’s quite a bit more to growing plants than just throwing seed in the ground. Recently I was helping my wife plant some flowers in the flower bed in front of our house. It is quite the process. You have to prepare the soil, set the plant, make sure there is fertilizer there to help the roots grow. You have to water that plant and tend to it to make it grow. When a cold snap hits you have to cover the plant and make sure that it doesn’t freeze and die. Genesis 47 records Joseph’s incredible plan to grow crops in the days following the famine. On today’s podcast, we learn that there is more here than just the farmer’s almanac, we find some strong application for our own lives and how we live them from this chapter.
