It’s one of the most recognizable passages in all the Bible. But John’s perspective of Jesus’ entrance into the ONE Story is unique and wholly unlike any of the other three gospels. There’s a distinct reason for this difference and as we begin the New Testament portion of the ONE Story Reading Plan, John takes us all the way back to the beginning to remind us of just who it is that is entering this story. It’s a journey worth taking as we consider how the Creator of all the world enters the creation He ordered to redeem that same creation from the sin that had desecrated it.
