One of the things I love most about my mother is that she believes in me no matter what. It is a powerful shot of confidence in the life of a young son to have a mother that does this. I can’t tell you how many times I doubted myself growing up and it seemed like my mother believed in me more than I did. When an ally, a friend, or a family member believes in you it can be very encouraging, but in Joshua chapter 2, we learn that the enemy actually believed in the God of the Israelites perhaps more than they did. On today’s podcast, we’ll uncover this incredible truth and remind ourselves that sometimes, we are our own worst enemy. With God there is nothing to fear no matter how formidable the foe may be. Especially when the foe is afraid of the God you serve. The problem is not how big our enemy is but how small our God is.
