Kids are full of the most random questions. When our kids were little there was no telling what type of questions we could field in the course of a drive to or from church. They are inquisitive creatures who desperately long to understand how things worked. Try as we may, there were some things that we found it inherently difficult to explain. How a motor worked, why the lights came on when we turned on a switch, and host of other questions that were intrinsically far beyond their understanding. In Judges 13, Samson’s father, Manoah, asked a question that the angel of the Lord basically refused to answer because he wouldn’t understand even if he told him.
