“Why me, I'm just a simple man of trade
Why Him, with all the rulers in the world
Why here, inside this stable filled with hay
Why her, she's just an ordinary girl
Now, I'm not one to second guess what angels have to say
But this is such a strange way to save the world”
These lyrics could not be more true when considering the mystery of the Incarnation in Matthew, chapter 1. There are so many unique and bizarre twists and turns hidden with the pages of this chapter. One thing is for sure, God orchestrated this entire entrance from the start and it commences with such grace that it is a beauty to behold. Come behold the wondrous mystery. See His grace found in one writer, two fathers, three sections and four outcasts. Only God could enact such a brilliant plan. A plan that to us may look strange, but upon further investigation, it is a story only God could construct.
