Have you ever watched the popular television show “Hoarding: Buried Alive?” All of us have seen those shows where an individual is so buried under the clutter and filth of the past that they are unable to survive amid the rubble. As with the show physically, often times in our lives spiritually we have to seek outside help to declutter the junk that clutters our lives and chokes the life out of us spiritually. In many ways, this is what the prophet Nehemiah had to do for the people of God and the rubble they had to overcome is more similar to the wreckage present in our own lives than we care to admit.
