Sometimes God calls us to do hard things. He asks us to make difficult decisions that often disrupt the comfort we so natively crave. There are times when pursuing the vision that God has given us will come at great personal cost, but that cost pales in comparison to the joy of submissive obedience and the blessing that will result from it. It’s a truth we find today hidden in pages of Nehemiah 11 and it’s worth our consideration.
