How do you respond to the reading of God’s word? Too often we approach the word of God so haphazardly that we miss the tremendous privilege to open God’s word, to listen to it, and to have our lives ruled by it. It’s a privilege that was not lost on the people of Israel in Nehemiah chapter 8 and their response and attitude toward its reading has profound implications for us today.
