Have you ever heard the adage, the devil is in the details? I think the point of that phrase highlights that though we may have the best intentions in mind to our grandiose plans, the true test of the viability of plan is found in the details of that plans execution. While with us the devil may be in the details, the truth is when it comes to plans of God, it is His glory that shines through that detail. Sometimes, when we read a book like this one that is so specific and so meticulous, it can cause us to come out cross eyed with our minds glazed over at all of this particularity. I mean the name of the book is NUMBERS after all. Who gets excited about that? But on today’s podcast we’ll see, once again, the stunning detail of God’s master plan for His people and we’ll learn how it reveals to us a treasured truth about God’s character in the process.
