Psalm 92 starts with the phrase "A song to be sung on the Sabbath Day". It's a reminder of why we get together each week for church services on the Sabbath at God's direction for countless generations. When we come together, when we are present with each other, we actually become the house of God - the place where God chooses to live. It's a gift to pause and rest from our labor, to gather with all of those who likewise have received this gift, and to celebrate how good God is and all He has done for us. When we commit to being present with each other, God shows up in a special way.
