Description

David & Huey try to figure out how they feel about Fritz Lang's M (1931), how modern society continues to not even try to rehabilitate the mentally ill who commit serious crimes, the cycles of abuse inherent in most serial killers' childhoods, the semi-unrelated & mostly avoided topic of how alcohol negatively affects society, how the alcohol industry (like the criminal justice system) has no incentive to rehabilitate people, the problem of evil & the possibility of 'conscious evil', the often uneven balance of talent & work ethic, the banal tragedy of some child prodigies, the differences between genuineness & authenticity, seeking attention, preferring anonymity, how putting the onus on the consumer is absurd & the only way to affect real change in an unethical economy is collective refusal to purchase a product, & the spectrum of human behavior from serial killers to Mr. Rogers :)
