David & Huey take turns trying to explain the inexplicable plot of Hitchcock's Vertigo (1958), its nervous dream logic, the age disparity of the characters, seeing dark Jimmy Stewart from a feminine perspective, obsession & desperation, the weight of losing a loved one (even if they're imaginary), returning to the scene of the crime & reenacting trauma, how the villain in the film is totally peripheral; a MacGuffin of a villain, Hitchcock's use of green for fantasy, & David brings up Huey's treatment for a sequel.
