Jackson Schichel is a 2017 Raider graduate. During his time at Hastings High School, he was a two sport athlete, competing in football and wrestling. In football, he was a two year letter winner. In wrestling, Jackson was a three year letter winner, two time state entrant, and two time state place winner taking 3rd and 4th. After high school, Jackson attended and wrestled for The University of Mary in Bismark, ND for two seasons before ultimately transferring to UW-Eau Clairew where he wrestled for multiple years. Jackson gives a great interview where he talks about the many coaches and teammates who had a positive impact on him along with the ups and downs that are associated with athletics.
