In this episode I'm talking about role models in my life, or rather the lack of them. It started from a comment I made on a friend's Instagram post about not really knowing men and I realised I don't really know women either which made me then realise I didn't have anyone to look up to growing up as a role model for the person I wanted to be. Being proud of myself and my work was certainly something i didn't see modelled in a way that was meaningful to me and pride is something I am now learning about as I work more on my current projects and in my new business. It is totally new to me to feel proud about what I am doing. I also didn't have role models for relationships, managing conflict and following my own path and that is something I am still learning. Every day is a school day! I really appreciate the role models I have now and it's never too late.
