Jacquie is the outdoor girl. Our conversation meandered from the Peak District and the Yorkshire Dales, to writing and acceptance of our creativity and to all things outdoors. Like me, Jacquie left her corporate job for a different way of life and we talk about how amazing that is but also the challenges it brings. Problem-solving, here in relation to climbing, is creative as is bringing a little bit of adventure into our every day. Being in the mountains gives Jacquie a sense of perspective, her place in the world, and helps her rebalance, reset and give her a sense of who she is. Most of all it feels like freedom.
