Tim Dwight made a name for himself early on around Iowa City, Iowa. Having set multiple Iowa all-time records in separate track events, it’s safe to say he’s one of the greatest athletes to have ever competed in the state of Iowa.
Drafted into the National Football League in the fourth round of the 1998 NFL Draft, Tim went on to return a kickoff for a touchdown in Super Bowl XXXIII, becoming only the fifth player in NFL history to accomplish such a feat. We dove into the lessons learned during Tim’s playing time and what life had been like in the limelight of a decade-long professional career.
Today, Tim is a staunch advocate of solar energy. After an opportunity presented itself in 2008, Tim has invested his time, energy, and resources into growing solar power capabilities within the state of Iowa and abroad. Hear us chat about customer cost savings, sustainability, grid securing energy, and how Tim is trying to give back to the state that has given him so much.
