Childhood dreams of wearing military fatigues led Corey to enlist in the United States Air Force. His first duty station immersed him in a different culture by sending him to Germany. While overseas, Corey’s leadership fostered opportunities for travel throughout Europe. This exposed him to a multitude of different cultures. Orders back to the U.S. sent him to Utah, as a Non-Commissioned Officer. His rapid development in leadership led to his next opportunity to instruct professional military education, with a move back to Germany. Here, he found his LOVE for mental performance while instructing and working with military Special Forces warriors. Pursuing this love, for the power of the mind, led him to focus on his education as a civilian. Currently, Corey is an Organization Development Consultant and Training Specialist at the University of Washington Medicine. He also is an independent Mental Performance Coach who instructs in the areas of; mindfulness, meditation, gratitude, self-reflection, routine, habits, self-talk, and goal setting.
