Description

Liana Pavane is featured in this week's episode of Nicstalgia. We hang out at the intersection of dating, technology, and pop culture. We discuss how Disney gave us unrealistic dating expectations and how This Is Us is an amazing example of relatable, emotionally resonant storytelling. Liana shares how growing up in NYC is not really like Gossip Girl and that although Emily in Paris is unrealistic, you can still have an amazing love affair of your own.

About our Guest

Liana Pavane an event/podcast host born and raised in NYC. She founded TTYL, a tech-free community dedicated to human connection, in 2018 after noticing how plugged into her phone she became with the rise of social media and technology post-graduation. After launching a dating podcast during the pandemic, Ghosts of Dates Past, she is bringing TTYL back with a focus on singles and friends nights because meeting new people can be extremely difficult (let alone approaching others). TTYL is a phone-free space full of eager to connect individuals, a night full of nostalgic childhood activities, with the mission that you leave feeling more confident and curious than before.
