WOW WOW WOW. Celtics beat the Heat 93-80 in a true defensive battle. This is another game where the offense wasn't great but any game where you hold a team to 80 points, you should win. We saw Derrick White earn his contract with his 2nd straight brilliant performance silencing the haters. Tatum and JB combined for just 10 pts in the first half on 3-16 from the field BUT went on to score 37pts on 14-23 from the field in the second half and looked great. Tatum was 1ast shy of a triple double and JB went from 4TOs in the first to 0 in the second. They stepped up in a major way in that second half.
Timelord is also proving to be invaluable for this team. He is the best 6'9" rim protector the NBA has ever seen and this entire Heat team looks terrified to drive to the paint when he is in there. With tonight's win, the Celtics take a 3-2 series lead heading back to Boston for Game 6 ready to wrap this series up and head to the NBA Finals!!!
