CELTICS ARE GOING TO THE FINALS!!! Wow what a game for the Celtics. I said prior to the game today that we would need to see 25+ from JB and Tatum and that didn't technically happen but they did combine for 50 pts. We had a really solid game from Smart but saw a really great defensive performance from Horford as well. This was as well as we could've asked for as far as a defensive performance.
The Celtics are now heading to the NBA Finals for the first time since 2009 and are set to take on the Golden State Warriors. There's a lot the Celtics need to clean up in order to beat the Warriors but at this point there is nothing to complain about. This team has shown nothing but resilience in this playoffs run and there is nothing but optimism around this team. Celtics are off until Game 1 of the Finals until Thursday June 2nd so they have a little break to get healthy because Rob Williams is going to be a key in this series.
