The Boston Celtics fall to the Bucks 131-125 in OT. They played this game with no Smart, JB, Tatum, or Al and only played Timelord 13 minutes as they were monitoring his minutes. Most people would automatically write this game off as a loss but the Celtics battled showing the entire NBA what we have been seeing all year and that is our depth is going to be a killer this year. We saw Derrick White continue his torrid stretch of destroying teams but we saw everyone else step up as well. Muscala has already scored twice the amount of points that Justin Jackson scored for us in just 3 games. Brogdon was big at times in this one. Hauser hit a 35ft 3 in Middleton's face to force OT and we saw Blake and Grant play phenomenally on the defensive end.
This was the most fun I have ever had watching the Celtics lose. We saw excellent ball movement and timely doubles forcing tough shots or sending Giannis to the FT line and it worked time and time again in this one. The hospital Celtics have no business keeping up with a fully healthy Bucks team but we did and it was incredible to watch. We still have a .5 game lead in the Eastern Conference but there's still a lot of time left. Time to handle business in Detroit and get healthy over the All Star Break.
