Today we have Mrs. Kari Young on with us. She is an entrepreneur and business owner in Houston Texas. She is a full time luxury wedding photographer and co owner of over the top Waffle Shoppe; a gourmet ice cream shop outside of Houston Texas. She was born and raised in Des Moines Iowa and decided to move with her family to Houston for the weather and the roaring economy. She has been photographing weddings for 6 years and began the Ice Cream Shoppe a year ago with the help of her husband Alecs and the main goal was to teach her son that you can do anything you put your mind to and show him the values of starting a business. She looks to continue to build business and create more opportunity with the partnership her and her husband have. We talk about her journey as an entrepreneur and the connection to her family.
