Anything worth achieving takes time and no success story in any area of life happened overnight. Delaying gratification means turning down the short term pleasure for the long term gain. No matter what your goals are, it is important to get very specific on what you’re looking to achieve. Then create your game plan - what small, attainable tasks can I commit to each and every day that will inch me closer and closer to that long term outcome? It is never going to be perfect. You just have to jump in and pivot and adjust as life throws obstacles your way.
