This week, Thomas and Colin watch the 1984 Sci-fi/Adventure, 2010: The Year We Make Contact.
Thomas tries to have his cake and eat it too. Colin is far more competent in his cake-consuming capabilities. Thomas hitchhikes into left field. Colin completely loses the plot.
Incidentally, SAL-9000's voice, credited to Olga Mallsnerd, is actually Candice Bergen. (The name Mallsnerd is a play on the name of one of the characters created by her ventriloquist father Edgar.)
