Welcome to our fourth episode!
In this interview, we chatted with Neha Dabke who recently graduated from UC Berkeley in Spring 2020 majoring in Computer Science and Cognitive Science. Currently, she works at Adobe as a Software Engineer. During college, she was the COO and Project Lead at Invention Corps, Editor for the Berkeley Fiction Review, Research Assistant at Computational Cognitive Lab, and Connector (Teaching) Assistant at UC Berkeley Institute of Data Science. Outside of her studies, she worked as a Software Engineering Intern at Etsy and Software Engineering Intern at CyberCube.
We talked about how following your passions will lead to opportunities that you might not have seen before, how it's ok to be vulnerable in software engineering interviews, and more!
We also reminisce about our favorite experiences while interning at Etsy in Brooklyn, New York and how that showed us the importance of working with people you like as well as building supportive and inclusive communities.
